Is Monday your fave day of the week?

LOL I know you are probably laughing now and going “Arggg No!!!”

Not many of us enjoy Mondays as it is back to reality. Routine and Responsibilities. No thanks. Take us back to the weekend ….. NOW!

I got tired of not enjoying Mondays and I made a pact with myself that they will become my favourite day of the week.

I was tired of being tired and tired of being negative.

If you would like to learn a few easy tips to get you started on the art of making every day of the week and especially Mondays awesome and exciting then read more:

Number 1: Have something exciting to look forward to.

It does not have to be something big and grand. Make a list and start small. Eg. Meeting up with a friend, waiting for a delivery of something you ordered online, starting your new health & fitness routine, starting a new hobby etc. I normally plan something exciting to work towards and look forward to on the weekend.

Number 2: Having a Mission – Creating Your New Plan for #Change

If you do not like the way your life is going then change it. The beauty is that you are in control. Don’t allow anyone else to have the reins on your life. Set time aside TODAY. It takes 5 minutes to write down what you would like to achieve. Then write down small steps on what you are going to do to achieve it. Then Go Go Go! No procrastinating. Don’t think, just do.

Number 3: Gratitude is the Best Attitude

I know that days are dark, times are tough and friends are few. I am sure that you have heard that saying before. I feel your pain but we have so much to be grateful for. We just don’t see it when we are coming from a place of scarcity and lack. Move yourself into a place of abundance and thankfulness for all that you have. You will start to feel so much better when you realise your life is not as bad as you think it is. Write down or think about 3 things every morning that you are grateful for and watch your life improve.

Number 4: What can I do this week to help someone else?

What you put out you get back trifold. It is as simple as that. It works. A simple message to someone struggling, a smile for someone that is looking down and sad, make a cup of coffee for a colleague, take a friend for lunch, a random chat with a stranger etc. The list is endless. The beauty is that you will not only be cheering someone else up but helping others makes us feel so good.

Number 5: Smile and Laugh a LOT.

Laughing is the best therapy for uplifting your Body, Mind, Heart and Soul. Remember when you were younger and life was so much simpler. Get back to those days. There is a time to be serious but you have to make the time to be silly. You cannot go through your whole life just being serious. This creates stress and anxiety. Who are the family, friends or colleagues that are always awesome to be around and you always feel better when you have chatted to or have spent time with them? Spend more time with them. If you don’t have people like this in your life then find some. They will be the best investment you will ever make. When last did you laugh out so loud that your tummy hurt?

I hope these 5 tips will assist you to start enjoying Mondays, getting you excited and motivated for the rest of the week!

The more positive and happy you become, the more energy you will have, which leads to more good things and people that you will attract into your life.
